Artwork Guidelines
If you would like to supply your own ‘print ready’ artwork, please follow the guidelines below.
Your finished artwork can be uploaded here
Artwork templates are available on individual product pages and also here
Our standard file formats are Adobe Illustrator .eps or .pdf. Any files sent in formats other than an Illustrator .eps or .pdf will be converted by us, which can cause errors. Any additional correction work created may incur additional charges and may affect our ability to meet deadlines. All artwork should ideally be accompanied by a printed proof to allow us to check against the supplied artwork. Digital proofs can be accepted. Please note .pdf proofs are not accepted unless fonts are outlined It is your responsibility to ensure artwork is supplied to us in CMYK format with all pantone swatches converted to CMYK prior to sending.
All fonts must be converted to outlines prior to output to reduce errors. Please do not use Photoshop to layout text.
In order to achieve full saturation please set all black elements to 20c, 20m, 20y, 100k
Treat graduations as images and create them in Photoshop (add gaussian blur for better quality). Graduations in Illustrator across large pop-up stands will create visible banding.
Multi panel artwork should be supplied as one complete image not multiple pages (e.g. a 3x3 pop-up stand should be one piece of artwork). Where possible avoid text on panel joins
All images should be a minimum of 300dpi at 1:4 scale
What else to include with artwork:
- All linked and embedded images.
- All fonts (in Mac, Adobe or Postscript format)
By submitting artwork to us we assume the files have been proof read and approved prior to sending to us, however, we will give the artwork a basic pre-flight check, free of charge, against the proof supplied. If we find errors with artwork we will give you the option of re-submitting artwork or authorising ourselves to carry out the alterations at a cost of £50 per hour. If new artwork is supplied our standard turnaround time will apply from when the revised artwork is delivered. If we re-design your artwork we will submit a proof for approval. Our standard turnaround time will apply once we receive approval of the artwork. Please note whilst we try to prevent incorrect artwork from being printed we are not responsible for any errors within your supplied artwork.
Large format printed graphics are printed using an 4 colour process (CMYK) process, therefore it is difficult to exactly match litho or spot colour items. We offer a pre production proof consisting of a scaled mini proof chargeable at £50 + vat which will be printed on the same machines as the final item and allows for an accurate colour representation.
If none of this ‘artwork’ talk means anything to you but you’d still like a fantastic display with brilliantly designed graphics to match, then we have an in-house design studio at your disposal with skilled designers at rates to suit your budget. Please contact us to arrange a designer to talk to you about your requirements.
